Femke Hansen has been interested in photography since 2004. Accordingly she started a photography study after finishing secondary school. During the study she already started doing some freelance work. Amongst others at a Dutch magazine for teenagers by teenagers called Keik! (settled in Amersfoort (NET)). Furthermore she learned a lot about photography at muzikantenweb and reflectionsofdarkness. During her study she came into contact with diverse branches in photography such as fashion photography, product photography and journalism. She did a teaching practice with Joris Jan Bos who cooperates with Robert Benschop. She photographed a lot at the "Nederlands Dans Theater" (Dutch Dancing Theatre) in The Hague and learned a lot there. Through her speeding up of her study she got to do a second teaching practice. She did this at the Dutch national paper called "AD". She again learned a lot. On the editorial office as well as as a freelancer. Through her study she found out that her heart goes out to theater and concert photography. Femke Hansen loves recording the passion of an artist at the ultimate moment.
